On Monday 19th October Frankie Carless returned from Poland following a week away with the England team at the 14th Karate World Championships for Cadets, Juniors and Under 21s.
Unfortunately he went out in his first fight, after receiving a bye in the first round. He did, however, get to fight the number one ranked fighter in the world from Egypt which was a massive moment for him, with so many take aways.
He now has a first hand experience of hat it takes to compete at the top level in the World and can use this experience to help other youngsters at the Dojo.
Personally he is more determined than ever!
We are all immensely proud of him.
